Being honest with yourself is important to your well-being. Levelling with yourself is vital to your well-being. Seeing eye to eye with who you are is crucial to your well-being. It is very easy for you to get lost in the trappings of society through the riches that you own and live within.

When you create your fiction to keep up with your peers, or to stay in their circle of contacts you play by deceit. You turn to devilish manipulations.

You have learnt to live with fiction, because fictional characters in your head goaded you on to do some of the actions that helped you attain your affluence. You are not proud of some things; the thoughts, the actions, the words, but the end justified the means. Perhaps one day they will surface and catch you out. Then where would you be? Would people still trust you? Would people still honour you? Would people still enjoy your company?

You like what you have achieved, but sometimes that liking of yourself turns to a narcissistic love affair. This on/off game that you engage with yourself in the affair. Will there be a day when you stop playing with your fiction, your devilish manipulations?

You tell yourself how fortunate and contented you are in your luxury. That it suits you. That you worked incredibly hard for it (Yes, you did. You certainly did.) That you will fight to maintain it (Yes you will. You will defend yourself to maintain as much as possible. Poverty does not suit you.) That you look at yourself with different eyes (Yes you do. There are days that you love being you; the real true you. Then there are days when you beat yourself up over remnants of the past that cannot be scrubbed from your memory; they act as hauntings within your mind.) That you comprehend yourself differently in order for some sort of sanity.

The one thing that you understand is that you have to be careful, as fate may turn against you and determine that you have to journey the losing streak. Fate has a helping hand if you hand it your walking away shoes. So be sure that you can take the risk of living with a destructive relationship. Especially the destructive relationship with yourself. The relationship with yourself where you frequently gravitate towards singing the blues.
